RMLV – Responsible Management of Licenced Venues

The RMLV course is mandatory for liquor licensees and approved managers in Queensland.

It is mandatory for liquor licensees (if individuals), approved managers and some permit holders to have a current responsible management of licensed venues (RMLV) certificate.

Course at a Glance

The RMLV Course (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues course) is a requirement of most current and new Liquor Licensees as well as mandatory for all ‘Approved Managers’. This is a not a nationally accredited course but is a Queensland Liquor Licensing requirement, OLGR approved course. The RMLV certificate is in most cases not required for Restaurant and Café type liquor licensed venues.

As an accredited RMLV trainer, upon completion of your training ITS will provide you with your certificate. Under the current legislation, your certificate remains current for a period of 3 years – we’ll even remind you when you’re due to renew.  


RMLV COURSE DELIVERY

The course is a minimum of 10 hours. We deliver this course in line with Government recommendations in our head office on Queen Street CBD.

RMLV CERTIFICATE

When you successfully complete the course, the approved trainer will issue you with a RMLV certificate. The certificate will remain current for 3 years. It is your responsibility to ensure your training is renewed before your current certificate expires.
